Matt Comeau of the Mi’kmaq Nation; an outstanding guitarist, a warm soulful voice, paired with a luminous and powerful stage presence. Singing songs that tell their story and the stories of those closest to them, their songwriting style will have you experiencing every word, accompanied by music that is refreshingly unique; influenced and inspired by socially conscious songwriters such as Buffy St. Marie, and Bob Marley, they believe in the power of music as medicine and it’s unique ability to unite and empower. Professionally, Matt has been collaborating, recording and performing since 2017 and has represented the Mi’kmaq Nation across Canada and internationally.
