Talking Troubles is a spoken word workshop aimed at lovers of poetry. This 2-hour workshop will teach participants how to create and perform their own poetry by introducing them to the fundamentals and differences of the spoken word art form. At the end of the workshop, everyone will have a chance to share the original poem they created.
Taught by New Brunswick spoken word poet Thandiwe McCarthy all participants are expected to bring only their voices, pens, paper, and a passion for speaking out.
This workshop will take place digitally on Zoom, Saturday the 12th of June from 2pm-4pm ADT.
