This project from Fredericton-based artist Kate Hamill combines visual and textile art forms to highlight a contemporary interpretation of traditional Maritime craft. Punch hooking, a modern take on rug hooking, allows for 2D visual art to take on a new texturized appearance. Punch Drunk Drama Queen will be punch hooked directly onto its 36x48 frame and will incorporate dramatic colours and shapes in an abstract way.

"Beep Beep" by Sacha Stephen

Sacha is an illustrator, multidisciplinary designer (UI/UX, graphic, print, textile). Her illustrations aim to pull out the humour in our darkest moments – kind of a "snap out of it, sad sack" for the psyche. "Beep Beep" is made from 124 individually hand-cut felt pieces and clocks in at 3x4 feet.
